Jan Boelen (1967, Genk, Belgium) is a Belgium art curator and academic. Founder and director of the Art Museum Z33 in Hasselt and head of the 'Social Design' Master at the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL).

He also chairs the Flemish committee for Architecture and Design and is currently curating exhibitions and projects for the upcoming Manifesta 9, The European Biennal of Contemporary Art. At TEDxEutropolis Jan will focus on societal change that can be initiated through art and design projects or events.
